State Highlights

The State Highlights section in the “State of Tobacco Control” report provides a summary of what occurred in 2021 and what needs to occur in 2022 to prevent and reduce tobacco use in your state. They include several American Lung Association state goals for lawmakers in 2022, and often highlight progress or challenges on tobacco control at the state and local level that may not be reflected in the grades.
