Alex Leon-Khan is the National Senior Manager of Web Design & Development for the American Lung Association. In her current role, Alex is dedicated to improving the user experience on multiple digital platforms and plays a critical role in developing strategic partnerships for web development resource sustainability and improving content creation standards. Alex also works closely with the digital marketing and branding teams providing technical training, UX guidelines, and project management support for digital experiences.
Prior to joining the American Lung Association, Alex worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Senior UI/UX designer. In this role, she was the UX design team lead and was instrumental in pilot implementations of new coding methods, developing critical business training, and specialized in developing tools that streamlined production workflows and reduced communication silos. Along with these duties, Alex partnered with Girls Inc. for helping youth respond to trauma and toxic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alex also worked with the Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness to digitize their information intake workflow, developed automated reports and restructured their database of homeless service providers throughout the state of Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing video games and collaborating with her husband on art projects.
