Partnering with CVS Health and Laura Dern to Support Our COVID-19 Action Initiative
COVID-19 is an infection that attacks the lungs and has sickened and killed thousands. Unfortunately, there is so much we still don't know about the disease. How You Can Help
From June 21–July 25, you can make a donation at the register at your local CVS Pharmacy® or online. With your donation, we will support the most at-risk populations and ensure they have access to COVID-19 vaccinations, fund lifesaving research and protect against future pandemics.

Our Partnership with Laura Dern
Laura Dern has been a partner and friend to the American Lung Association since 2015 through our LUNG FORCE initiative. Her story has been tied to lung cancer since she was a child. From her grandfather passing away from the disease when she was six, to her dear family friend Valerie Harper who passed away last year. She also became close to the writer Cheryl Strayed when she portrayed her mother in the film adaptation of the book Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail. Dern received an Oscar nomination for her role and wore turquoise on the red carpet in honor of LUNG FORCE. She has joined us many times over the years to help raise awareness about the #1 cancer killer.
And this year, she is joining us to tackle the respiratory issue that has affected us all: COVID-19. In addition, there are 36 million Americans who live with asthma, COPD and lung cancer and are more susceptible to severe complications from COVID-19.
Our Lead COVID-19 Action Initiative Sponsor
In addition to hosting an in-store fundraising campaign, CVS Health is now offering drive-thru COVID-19 testing at 1,000 CVS Pharmacy locations, with the goal of processing 1.5 million tests per month. These tests are being offered at no-cost to improve access and necessary care for historically underserved communities. See if you qualify and make your appointment online.
