Dr. Dave Cury is Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He attended medical school at the University of Miami and completed his residency and fellowships in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been on faculty at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine at Shands Jacksonville for twenty-two years. During that time, he has been the Chief of the Pulmonary division for ten years and Chief of the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for eleven years. Currently he is the program director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship program. He has had an active research program in COPD and asthma studies and more recently idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
