Dr. Felix Aguilar is the Chief Medical Officer of CSC Health, a community clinic in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Aguilar has done extensive work in community health and has broad involvement with community health programs. In addition, he has participated actively in campaigns on environmental health and environmental justice, including work on childhood asthma. In the late 1980s, he worked as a health educator to implement California’s Proposition 99, the Tobacco Tax and Health Protection Act. During the last decade, Dr. Aguilar has been an American Lung Association volunteer as a member of “Doctors for Climate Health.” He joined the American Lung Association National Board in February of 2022.

Dr. Aguilar completed his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine.  Also, he completed a Master of Health Care Management at Harvard University and a Master of Public Health at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. In addition, Dr. Aguilar trained in Family Medicine at H-UCLA and in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the California Department of Health Services. Moreover, he is board certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.
