Dr. Antoinette Wozniak is a Professor of Medicine and Interim Chief of the Division of Hematology / Oncology, University of Pittsburgh.  She is the Associate Director for Clinical Research, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Having relocated to Pittsburgh after working at the Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit for most of her career.

Dr. Wozniak has over 30 years of experience in clinical trials, both in a primary role and as a co-investigator. This includes national trials from the Southwest Oncology Group, NCI sponsored studies and pharmaceutical trials. The focus of Dr. Wozniak’s clinical research has been in lung cancer (small cell and non-small cell), mesothelioma and thymus gland cancer.

Dr. Wozniak received her undergraduate degree from Niagara University, summa cum laude and completed her medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo.  Dr. Wozniak completed her residency at SUNY at Buffalo and fellowship at the University of Florida. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Dr. Wozniak was a Professor of Oncology and served as Leader of the Lung Cancer Team and Co-Director of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Wayne State University and the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Detroit, Michigan. She has over 200 publications and abstracts. She is very active in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Southwest Oncology Group, American Lung Asssociation, and the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
