My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer much too late. She died within months of her diagnosis.

She was first told she had pneumonia. If she had proper screening for lung cancer - I believe it may have saved her life.

She never smoked a day in her life, but was in the presence of second hand smoke . As caregivers we needed to stay with her 24 hours a day to support her at home on her oxygen. MY wish for lung cancer patients is to have screening available to everyone and covered by insurance.
