Pamela B., MA

I was diagnosed in 2015 with breast cancer. I had surgery to remove tumor and also needed radiation after. I had smoked for over 40 years quit about 10 years before my cancer.

While having radiation on my breast my doctor recommended a lung scan. I received notice my scan showed a abnomal spot on my lung, this was a random scan to check my lungs, finding out I also had a tumor on my lung the following year it was found early stage 1.

I had a lobectomy to remove the cancer. I also was treated for years for COPD. This scan saved my life, I would not have known I had lung a certain without it. Please if you smoke or have smoked, have a lung scan. This Could Save Your Life!
