I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in June of 2015. I had lost my own mother to metastatic lung cancer in 1986. I knew the pain she endured and watched as my very strong Mama deteriorated rapidly. Mama only lasted a few months after diagnosis and the spread to her brain and bones.
