My husband, Tony Long, had asthma his entire life. He passed away on May 21, 2019 from a bad cold, his ever present asthma and heart failure at the young age of 51. He was recovering, but then a blood clot went to his heart and lungs, and he left us way too soon. I really believe that had his asthma been better controlled he would still be with us today. Tony was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle and stepfather and just a genuinely good human being. We miss him every day, so much! We are doing the LUNG FORCE Walk in San Diego in honor of him, and I hope to help spread awareness through his story, so that others can be educated about asthma and other lung diseases.
