I tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2021 and was admitted to hospital on May 7th due to shortness of breath. Radiological findings were bilateral infiltrates on both lungs. Received corticosteroid therapy for 20 days. Follow up CT on fifth week was normal, but excursional dyspnea was present with SpO2 dipping to 88% from 98%. Later from sixth week of COVID-19 detection, end inspiratory crackles was heard, and SpO2 was 92% in room air. The sound gradually progressed to velcro like crackles. Could I have pulmonary fibrosis? Currently on LTOT.
