Duane B., VA

My mother died of asthma in the hospital at age 52. This was due to the workplace polluted air and second hand smoke that she had been exposed to. My wife died at 64 after a myriad of health problems brought on by environmental pollution, EMF and faulty health treatments. I now at age 78 have been diagnosed with asthma, but I never smoked. The lung doctors say this is due to the workplace pollution and second hand smoke that I was exposed to over the years. Now is the time to strengthen the Clean Air Act, all Occupational Health laws and regulations and insist that our federal and state agencies strictly enforce them. In the long run, this would be preventive medicine and lower our health costs. I would like this delivered to my 5th District of Virginia Congressman, Robert Hurt, who continually votes to gut the environmental and safety laws and regulations of this country and state.
