I don't have a personal story in Michigan, although I know of folks who struggle with the bad pollution in Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland.

I do have a nephew who as a child had severe asthma attacks in Houston, one of the most polluted cities in America. In Seguin, Texas, they built a "clean coal factory" not two miles away from my niece's house, where she had three young daughters. One developed asthma not long after that place opened and began spewing its pollutants over people's homes.
