A lot of people take breathing for granted. It's easy for most, but for those of us with asthma, it is not. It's a daily struggle sometimes depending upon flare ups.

While those with asthma cannot change our condition, we can help reduce flare ups by promoting a healthy lifestyle that will improve the air in our city. As a runner, having clean air can make such a difference in a successful run and other daily activities. It helps me be less dependent and tied down to my inhaler— meaning I have more freedom.
