I have lung cancer. Breathing is difficult under the best of circumstances. We live within sight of a coal burning power plant. Our car and outdoor furniture is regularly coated with black dust. How can this be healthy for me to breathe this air?

What is particularly disgusting is that this plant borrows credits from less polluting plants to make their numbers appear to be better than they really are. It is an awful thought to know our politicians continue to let these plants spew pollution at the expense of the people who live nearby.

My family and I strongly support legislation to convert these pollution spewing coal-burning plants to use natural gas as their fuel.
