Pat P., OH

I have COPD and know the fear and anxiety of not being able to catch my breath. Air pollution worsens my condition, so I have to stay inside when there are air warnings here in Columbus.

I am also a grandmother and worry about my grandson during high air pollution days. He wants to play outside and has no idea the air isn't clean and could damage his young lungs. It is my grandson's right as an American to grow up with air fit to breathe.

To the politicians I say: Don't use financial reasons as an excuse to allow my grandson's lungs to be damaged. It is about more than money. Please keep America's air as clean as possible or you might be stuck inside too!
