The benefits of clean air are well known, and in addition we know how to prevent much of the pollution that is in our air -- unfortunately, we continue to elect politicians who will protect the polluters at the expense of people. I believe that it is time to change our focus from getting the facts on these fronts to electing leaders who will honor the science and clean up our environment while it is still possible. Clean energy technology is available, and we need to push that development with everything we have - not as an attack on fossil fuel, but by developing clean options and insisting that our legislators put tax dollars behind clean energy development.
