Medical Director, Duke Children's Hospital Pulmonary Function Laboratory

Dr. Tarig Ali-Dinar completed his pediatric pulmonary fellowship at the University of Miami, and sleep medicine fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston/Harvard School of Medicine. 

He specializes in all aspects of pulmonary disease and serves as an attending physician on pulmonary consultation services, and the medical director of the Duke Children’s Hospital Sleep Program. 

Prior to joining Duke, he was elected as a member of the American Lung Association board of directors, he also served as Nemours Children’s, Orlando site principal investigator for the ACRC and for AsthmaNet, a nationwide clinical research network created by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI).

His research interests are in clinical trial in asthma, primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) and sickle cell respiratory related diseases and sleep disorders.
