LUNG FORCE

What Is LUNG FORCE?

The American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE initiative unites those impacted by lung cancer and their caregivers across the country to stand together against lung cancer.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., and every day, lung cancer takes the lives of more than 357 of our friends, neighbors and loved ones. But now there's hope—the five-year lung cancer survival rate has increased 37% in the past 10 years.

We need more awareness about lung cancer, more education on lifesaving screening and more research funding to fuel lifesaving breakthroughs.

It's a big problem—so we have big goals.

Through education, advocacy and research, we work to provide hope to all those impacted by the disease and save more lives.

We stand together against lung cancer. We stand together as LUNG FORCE.

For our breath, for our lives.
