Education on Asthma Self-Management

The Kentucky Department of Health has partnered with the Lung Association to expand the capacity of health professionals to deliver asthma guidelines-based care by purchasing scholarships for local healthcare professionals to attend our Asthma Educator Institute.

X-tinguishing Smoking and Secondhand Smoke

The Lung Association is working with the Kentucky Department of Health to train their staff and partners to become Freedom From Smoking Facilitators to help those interested in their community to become tobacco-free!

Achievement of Guidelines-Based Care

The Kentucky Department of Health has partnered with us to provide scholarships for Healthcare Professionals to attend our Asthma Educator Institute. Asthma Educator Institute is a professional education course for frontline healthcare professionals to sit for the national asthma certification exam.

What is EXHALE?

The CDC’s EXHALE technical package represents a group of strategies, which, based upon the best available evidence, can improve asthma control and reduce healthcare costs.
