Alicia S., MT

Hello, my name is Alicia Spotted Eagle. I am 29 years old, I have four beautiful children; one son age fourteen; three daughters ages eleven, nine, and seven. I have been married to my common-law husband for sixteen years, we are high school sweet hearts. I have a huge family on my mothers, fathers and in-laws side. Pulmonary Fibrosis has been in my family on my mothers side for many, many years. Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) has taken too many of my family members. I am very bothered by this disease. This disease has taken a toll on me and my family. I am researching this disease for my class Scientific Research and Writing, for my family, and to also bring more awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis. All of my Scientific Research and Writing class has never heard about this disease. Pulmonary Fibrosis has taken my grandpa's brother, two aunts, my grandpa, and my uncle. I presently have one aunt and an uncle who are struggling with (PF). We only have one aunt, two uncles, and my mother whom are still alive out of nine siblings, but like I said two out of the four are struggling with (PF) now. And a relative is waiting to get a lung transplant because the pulmonary fibrosis is very bad.
