Mike L., MI

Today's date is 7/8/2018. I was diagnosed in June of 2015. I am a 65-year-old male. I have been on oxygen for one year. My mother died from the disease at the age of 79 in 2002. She battled the illness for five years. At this time, I am listed for a double lung transplant. I try to keep active including three times per week pulmonary therapy. That and trying to stay positive help to keep me going. To all other pulmonary fibrosis patients, I wish you only the best. Stay strong, you are not alone.
