Pam C., AR

I started coughing from what I thought was a virus in November 2011. It never went away. First diagnosed as pneumonia, it never went away. Then sarcoidosis, and the cough only got worse. Then after a biopsy at UAMS... IPF. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Terminal. Through it seemed a lifetime, but only two years later, at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Florida I received a bilateral lung transplant. Now, going on almost eight years later, I am still here. Still kicking. I've been through a lot more than I just described. But that would be a book. Thanks for reading this tiny bit of what I gave gone through.
